Terms of service
The rules for using Fantasy League Lens. Short, because the product is simple and most of what a long agreement would cover does not apply to it.
1. What Fantasy League Lens is
Fantasy League Lens is an analysis tool for private fantasy sport leagues. You capture the rosters in your own league, and we turn them into ownership percentages, trade history, points of difference and trade suggestions. It works alongside AFL SuperCoach, AFL Fantasy, AFLW Fantasy and SuperCoach EPL Classic. It is not any of those services and does not replace them.
2. Not affiliated with anyone
Fantasy League Lens is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to the Australian Football League, News Corp Australia, Telstra, the Premier League, or any club. "SuperCoach", "AFL Fantasy", "AFLW Fantasy" and "Premier League" are used on this site only to describe which competitions the tool works with. Those marks belong to their owners, as do all club and player names.
3. Your account
You need to be at least 15 to hold an account. Keep your password and access to your email secure. One account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account at any time, and doing so removes your leagues with it. We can suspend or close an account that is being used to attack the service, to resell access, or to break these terms, and we will tell you why.
4. The capture tool
The capture runs in your own browser, under your own session, on pages you are already entitled to see. It reads the rosters of the teams in your league. It does not ask for or handle your login details for any fantasy competition, and it does not crawl those sites or collect historical data in bulk.
You are responsible for your own compliance with the terms of the fantasy competition you play. Use the capture on leagues you are a member of. Do not modify it to make automated or high volume requests.
5. Free and paid
The free tier is genuinely free, does not expire, and does not need a card. It covers trade history, league ownership, the team viewer, the overview and one league.
An eligible signed-in free account with exactly one cloud league may activate one seven-day Premium trial without a card. The trial applies to that league's competition, does not add another league slot, ends automatically at the shown expiry time, and cannot be paused or restarted after it is used.
Premium is sold per competition as a season pass at A$24.99, paid once. AFL SuperCoach, AFL Fantasy, AFLW Fantasy and SuperCoach EPL are sold separately because they are separate competitions and seasons.
A season pass covers the competition and season you bought it for. It does not renew and does not carry into the next season. Prices are in Australian dollars.
6. Refunds
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If the product is faulty, or does not do what we said it does, you are entitled to a refund and we will not argue about it.
If you change your mind, email hello@fantasyleaguelens.com within seven days of purchase for a full refund, even if you have used Premium. Access provided by that pass ends immediately when we process the full refund. This seven-day window does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If you bought the wrong competition, contact us and we can swap your pass once to a competition with a current season available, provided you do not already hold a pass for that competition. The replacement covers that competition's current season and expires at its season end. Access under the original pass ends. If you bought the same pass twice, contact us so we can resolve the duplicate purchase. Partial refunds do not change access.
7. What we do not promise
Fantasy League Lens gives you information and suggestions. It does not give you wins. Trade recommendations are calculated from past scoring and current prices, and a player's next score is not something anyone can know in advance. Every decision you make in your league remains yours.
Player statistics, prices and fixtures are refreshed from public sources each round and can be wrong, late, or missing. Your own analysis is only as current as your last capture. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to Fantasy League Lens is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not resell, sublicense or republish the analysis Fantasy League Lens produces.
- Do not scrape, mirror or bulk download the site or the player database.
- Do not try to break the paywall, the database's access rules, or another user's account.
- Do not use the service to harass anyone or to break the law.
9. Who owns what
The site, the analysis engine and everything it derives belong to us. Your league captures belong to you: we hold them to run the service for you, as set out in the privacy policy, and you can take them or delete them whenever you like.
10. Changes and endings
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect. If we ever have to shut the service down mid season, we will refund the unused part of any season pass.
