What to check in an AFLW plan
- Three moves share one budget
- Trade Lab checks the combined cost and position compatibility of the proposed moves. A downgrade can fund an upgrade in the same plan; a forecast price rise cannot.
- The salary balance comes with the capture
- AFLW Fantasy reports each team’s remaining salary. The app uses that captured balance when it is available, with the snapshot round shown beside your report.
- Keep the squad ready to play
- The player file and reviewed rookie notes provide availability and role context. Triple-down plans also check for playing bench cover. Confirm final teams before making the moves.
One league includes trade history, league ownership, the team viewer and league overview for free. Trade Lab, fixture analysis, gap closers, PODs, trade intel and the bank tracker are included with Premium. The AFLW Fantasy season pass is a one-off A$24.99 purchase and does not renew.

AFLW Fantasy squad settings
League size changes what ownership means, so these are the AFLW Fantasy Classic settings that matter for the analysis.

In a 20-team league, a player owned by three rivals is still a genuine differential. In a four-team league, a player owned by all three rivals is close to compulsory cover. The raw count only makes sense beside the size of the league, so Fantasy League Lens scales its ownership analysis to the number of teams on your ladder.
2026 season note: the AFLW season opened on Sunday 9 August with St Kilda v Carlton at Marvel Stadium, in an AFL/AFLW double-header for Spud's Game. The rest of Round 1 runs from 13 to 16 August. Your first capture after lockout sets a baseline. Trade history appears when you add a later round.
Capturing your AFLW Fantasy league
You don't connect your AFLW Fantasy account to Fantasy League Lens. The capture runs from a bookmark while your league is open in the browser you're already signed into.
- Add the capture bookmark once. The same button works on AFL SuperCoach, AFL Fantasy, AFLW Fantasy and SuperCoach EPL Classic because it detects which site you have open.
- Click it after lockout. Using your signed-in browser session, it asks the AFL Fantasy site for the league data already available to you, roughly once per team, then downloads one small file.
- Load the file into the app. Confirm the round and you're done. Each capture is compared with the previous one to build your trade history.
We don't ask for your fantasy competition login details. The capture uses the session already open in your browser. Your Fantasy League Lens account is separate.
AFLW Fantasy questions
Doesn't AFLW Fantasy already show ownership?
AFLW Fantasy shows ownership across the whole competition. It does not calculate ownership inside your private head-to-head league. Without Fantasy League Lens, you would need to open every rival roster after lockout and tally the players yourself.
Will the rest of my league know I'm using it?
No. Nothing is posted to your league, and your analysis is not published or shared with the people you play against. The capture uses league data already available to your signed-in browser after lockout, then Fantasy League Lens does the calculations.
Do I have to enter player stats, prices or averages?
No. We refresh the shared AFLW player database, including averages, prices and recent form, after each round. You only capture the part that is specific to your league: who owns each player.
Can I start mid-season?
Yes. Ownership, gap closers, PODs and trade intel work from your first capture. Trade history builds from that point as you add each round. AFLW captures also include every team's actual remaining salary, so the bank tracker works whenever you start.
Is AFLW Fantasy priced separately from SuperCoach?
Yes. AFLW Fantasy and AFL SuperCoach are priced separately, so you only buy the competition you play. AFLW Fantasy Premium is a one-off A$24.99 season pass. It ends with the AFLW Fantasy season and does not renew.
Is this allowed?
The capture runs only when you ask it to. Using your signed-in browser session, it requests the same league data the AFL Fantasy site already serves you, roughly once per team. It does not crawl historical data or handle your login details. The paid features are Fantasy League Lens calculations built from that data. Fantasy League Lens is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AFL.

Trade history can only build from the captures you have. Start after the first lockout and every later round has something to compare with.
