One-click capture

Set this up once. After that, capturing your whole league each round is a single click.

Step 1 · Add the capture bookmark

Drag this button up to your bookmarks bar:

Can't see your bookmarks bar? Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows) or ⌘+Shift+B (Mac) to show it.

Phone browsers need one extra setup step. Copy the capture code, then save it inside a normal bookmark. You only do this once.

iPhone or iPad: use Safari

  1. Tap Safari's Share button, then Add Bookmark. Name it Capture league and save it.
  2. Open Safari's bookmarks, press and hold Capture league, then tap Edit.
  3. Delete the existing address, paste the capture code in its place, then tap Save.
  4. Open your fantasy league in Safari. Open your bookmarks and tap Capture league.

This is most reliable in Safari. It will not run inside the SuperCoach or AFL Fantasy app.

Android: use Chrome

  1. Tap Chrome's menu, then the star to bookmark this page.
  2. Open Bookmarks, find this bookmark, tap its menu and choose Edit.
  3. Name it Capture league. Delete the existing address, paste the capture code in its place, then save.
  4. Open your fantasy league in Chrome. Type Capture league in the address bar and tap the matching bookmark result.

Choose the bookmark result, not a Google search. It will not run inside the SuperCoach or AFL Fantasy app.

Copy manually if the button does not work

A laptop or desktop is still the easiest option if your phone blocks edited bookmarks.

Step 2 · After lockout and before your next trades, capture

The same bookmark works for all four competitions; it detects which site and game you're on.

Capture before trading. The file records every squad exactly as it appears at that moment. If you make a trade first, the new player becomes part of the baseline and Trade Lab cannot reconstruct the team that entered lockout.

AFL SuperCoach

  1. Go to supercoach.com.au and open your league.
  2. Click the Total Points tab so the full team ladder is on screen.
  3. Click your Capture league bookmark, then Capture whole league and wait ~30 seconds. It opens each team, reads it, and downloads one file.

Nothing is sent to SuperCoach's servers beyond your own normal browsing, the tool just reads what's already on your screen.

AFLW Fantasy

  1. Go to fantasy.afl.com.au/aflw and open your league.
  2. Click your Capture league bookmark, then Capture whole league: it takes about 10 seconds and downloads one file.

This reads the same data the AFLW Fantasy site itself loads for the page, team lineups are available once the round locks out.

AFL Fantasy

  1. Go to fantasy.afl.com.au and open your league.
  2. Click your Capture league bookmark, then Capture whole league: same as AFLW, about 10 seconds and one downloaded file.

The men's and AFLW games run on the same site, so the bookmark tells them apart from the address and captures each into its own league.

SuperCoach EPL Classic

  1. Go to supercoach.com.au/epl/classic and open your head-to-head league.
  2. Wait until the gameweek locks and rival squads become visible, then open the league ladder.
  3. Click your Capture league bookmark, then Capture whole league. It reads each 15-player squad, starting XI, captain and the next fixture window.

The EPL capture is passive. It reads the league pages shown in your browser and never asks for your login details.

Step 3 · Load it into Fantasy League Lens

Open Fantasy League Lens, go to Load Data, click the upload area and choose the downloaded file. The round or gameweek is filled in for you, just confirm. Done.

Prefer not to use a bookmark? You can also paste capture.js into your browser's developer console, but the bookmark is the easy way.
